It has been determined that extraordinary measures must be taken to alleviate the suffering of people and to protect or rehabilitate property, therefore any outdoor burning is prohibited in the unincorporated areas of Falls County and will remain in effect until further notice.

Citizens of Marlin have, no doubt, noticed a style change, and in some cases, an increase in their water costs on recent bills.

4th of July festivities include children's parade and program

A celebration will be held to commemorate the birth of our nation on July 4th at the Falls County Courthouse beginning at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 4th.

Local Riding Club to host CTHSA competition July 4th and July 18

On July 4th, and again on July 18, the McClanahan Riding Club will host the Central Texas Horse Show Association (CTHSA) competition.
