Bulldogs fall to LaPoyner in Area

The Marlin Bulldogs basketball team traveled to Robinson on Tuesday February 20 for the Bi-District round of the playoffs. They took on the Bosqueville Bulldogs, and Marlin defeated them 65-38 to advance. 

The Bulldogs traveled out to Navarro College in Corsicana on Friday, Feb. 23 to face the LaPoynor Flyers in the area round. Marlin fell to LaPoynor 74-65 to bring their

season to an end. 

With this defeat, Marlin finishes the season with an impressive overall record of 18-5 and a perfect district record of 14-0.
