Falls County Samaritan House Gifts Marlin ISD Youngest Students

On May 4, the Falls County Samaritan House in Marlin awarded clean, quality outerwear clothing in sizes 4 to 14 to Falls County Community ARC Coalition volunteers Derinda Austin and Olga Rosas. The clothing was directed to Marlin Elementary School Nurse Judy Morrow for emergency use with Pre-K, kindergarten and first grade children.

“Please, gather what you know is needed for the children,” Falls County Samaritan House Manager Libba Merryman said.

Underclothing and socks, however, must be new. Donations of new, unopened packages of underclothing and socks would be appreciated. Contact Derinda Austin at 254-252-9920 to assist with this service project.

“We will continue throughout the school year to procure the needed clothing in support of Nurse Judy Morrow’s healthcare of these, the youngest students,” Austin and Rosas said.
