STATE CHAMPION
Keundra Wilson won the state championship in the 100m dash to cap off an incredible high school track career that now includes back-to-back state championships.
Wilson, running for the Marlin High School girls track team, won the sprint with a new school record time of 11.83 seconds.
Marlin High Schools sent representatives from both the boys and girls track teams to participate in the state track meet on Friday ,May 2 at Mike A. Myers Stadium at the University of Texas. Wilson was the lone representative for the girls.
For the boys, Keyshaun Massington finished 4th in the 100m dash and 6th in the 200m dash. Brysen Maxwell-Steele finished 8th in the shot put. Congratulations to these Bulldogs and Lady Bulldogs on a fantastic season and making it all the way to the state track meet.
