Welcome to Marlin

There is a new Marlin mural on the side of the Marlin Tourism & Marketing Office on the corner of Live Oak Street and Heritage Row. The artist in the picture is J. Muzacz. Almost a year ago the Marlin Tourism and Marketing Department started talking to J Muzacz about doing an iconic piece in Marlin. They wanted something large that would really make a statement and anchor the historic downtown area. Through Texas Commission on the Arts and the Office of the Governor Greg Abbott they received partial grant funding, and the rest was funded through hotel tax.
