“This special celebration is designed to bring neighbors together, rekindle the warmth of Christmases past, and create new memories right here in the heart of Marlin, Texas,” she continued.

A Christmas in Marlin organization has been created. Its commitment is to plan, create, staff, coordinate, and facilitate an annual ‘Christmas in Marlin Event’ in Marlin, Texas. It invites every business, organization, school, church, private enterprise, and individual to experience Marlin as a Wonderland of Joy this Christmas.

Begin by marking the calendar for the 2026 Christmas in Marlin Event. It is Friday, through Sunday, December 11 - 13, 2026! These are three days of interactive Christmas festivities offered in a family-friendly environment for everyone in Marlin and family and friends everywhere!

A ‘Best Decorated Block’ contest will provide the winning block $1,000, to be shared by those who participated.

Activities being planned include Market on Main Street & Christmas Tree Lighting, Caroling, Snowballs, Christmas Homes and Churches Tours, After-Christmas- Parade Party, Pictures with Santa Claus, Live Music, Christmas Movie Matinee, Activities for Youngsters of all ages at The Pavilion. And the list of ideas is growing.

The Christmas in Marlin is seeking community sponsorships, partnerships and collaborations for this event.
