BOBBIE NUTT WHITT

Bobbie (Nutt) Whitt was born August 31, 1946 in Marlin, Texas and passed away on February 5, 2026. Bobbie was happily married to her husband Lonnie for 36 years until his death on August 31, 2022.

Bobbie retired from The Texas Department of Criminal Justice at the Hobby Unit. After retiring she loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Mrs. Whitt was preceded in death by her parents Thomas and Lois (Sowders) Nutt and her husband, Lonnie Whitt.

Survivors include her son Thomas Ehlers and wife, Libby, daughter Tracie Ehlers Adams, sister Patty Notgrass and husband, David, 6 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren, 4 stepchildren and numerous step grandchildren and step great grandchildren.

A visitation was held at Adams Funeral Home, located at 129 Coleman Street, Marlin, Texas, 76661, on February 8, 2026, from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm. Graveside services took place in Hillcrest Cemetery, 266 FM 147, Marlin, Texas, on February 9 at 10:00 am.

Pallbearers were Stetson Ehlers, Randy McGrath, David Notgrass, Richard Notgrass, Jordan Rosas and Charles Simpson.
