Juanita Willars, 81, of Marlin, Texas passed away peacefully in her sleep on Wednesday, June 3, 2026. Juanita was born in Bremond, Texas on August 21, 1944 to Catherine and Elias Sartuche.
Juanita was married to Gilbert Willars.
She was a homemaker and raised seven children. She was a former member of the First Assembly of God Church in Marlin, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her parents Catherine Silvas and Elias Sartuche, grandparents Hortencia and Camilo Martinez, husband Gilbert Willars Sr., daughter Lori Ann Willars, granddaughter Felicia Pecina Gillispie, great-granddaughter Mia Pena, and sons-in-law Dan Rincon, Jr. and Michael Rutkoski.
Juanita is survived by daughters Diane Ayers (Joe), Vivian Mitchell (John), Joyce Pineda (Patrick), Lisa McIntosh (David), Jill Sadler (Danny) and Amy Brown (Jeffrey), and son Gilbert Willars Jr., and adopted daughter, Juliet Evans and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Juanita is also survived by sisters Terisa Centeno, Betty Silva, Cynthia Silvas, Ermalinda Salazar, Connie Melchor and brother Henry Silvas. Pallbearers include Wesley Gillispie, Brendan Gillispie, Michael Willars, Gabriel Pineda, Christopher McIntosh, and Nathan Rutkoski. Honorary Pallbearer will be Jason Rutkoski.
Visitation will be Wednesday, June 10, 2026 from 6:00 PM till 8:00 PM at Adams Funeral Home in Marlin, Texas with service at 7:00 PM. Funeral services are Thursday, June 11, 2026 at 10:00 AM at Adams Funeral Home Marlin, Texas. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery Marlin, Texas.
