Free Computer Classes to start March 9

The Marlin Public Library will hold free computer classes this spring. There will be four classes:

 

Introduction to Computers

March 9 - 10:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.

Having trouble understanding your computer? This class will teach you basic keyboard commands and computer functions to you be comfortable using a computer in the workplace and at home.

Introduction To Internet

March 23 - 10:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.

Need help navigating the internet? We will teach you common internet words, how to navigate the internet, use a search engine, and apply for jobs online.

Introduction To Internet Safety

April 6 - 10:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.

Learning about the internet and want to learn how to navigate safely? We will teach you about different types of threats and how to avoid them: viruses, privacy settings, safe browsing.

Introduction To Email

April 20 - 10:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.

Do you need to create and email address or learn more about your email account? This email class will walk you through creating, navigating, and sending appropriate emails.
