AROUND TOWN
DANIEL HUMPHREYS FAMILY REUNION CHURCH SERVICE Sunday, July 20 at 10 a.m.
Daniel Humphreys Family Reunion Church Service on Bishop Hugh McGruder will bring the sermon. This reunion is over 60 years old, and every year at the close of the reunion weekend, we fellowship with a Church that our family members have played key roles in setting up churches throughout Falls County and Marlin.
This year our family reunion will fellowship @ the Marlin Missionary Baptist Church, over 100 years old, and where Rev Vincent Hartfield is the Pastor. This church has a Historical Marker that says our Great Uncle, Nelson T Denson, was key to building Marlin Baptist along with the school. Our service and sermon will be brought to us by our own Cousin, Uncle, Brother, Father, and Bishop Hugh McGruder.
