FALLS COUNTY FELONY DOCKET

On April 29, 2021, Judge Bryan F. Russ, Jr. convened court to hear felony matters presented by District Attorney Jody Gilliam.  The following Felony cases were disposed of:  

 

1st Degree Felony (5 to 99 years or life, up to $10,000.00 fine.)

Jamee Ladyral Womack, 21, from Marlin, pled guilty to possession of cocaine, with intent to deliver, over 4 grams but less than 200 grams. He was placed on 5 years deferred probation, assessed a $1,500.00 fine, ordered to complete 240 hours of community service, and attended and successfully complete a drug intervention program. Womack was arrested on February 29, 2020, by Falls County Sheriffs Office. 

Sedric Ramon whitfield, 40, from Lott, pled guilty to possession of methamphetamine, with intent to deliver, over 4 grams but less than 200 grams. He was sentenced to 7 years confinement in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice System. His sentence was suspended, and he was placed on 7 years probation, assessed a $500.00 fine, ordered to complete community service, and attend and successfully complete a drug intervention program. Whitfield was arrested on April 20, 2020, by Lott Police Department. 

 

2nd Degree Felony (2 to 20 years, up to $10,000.00 fine.)

Stephen Jacob Deckard, 25, from Waco, pled guilty prostitution: solicitation of a minor under 18. He was placed on 5 years deferred probation, assessed a $2,500.00 fine, ordered to register as a sex offender for life. Deckard was arrested on June 27, 2019, by Texas Department of Public Safety.  

 

3rd Degree Felony (2 to 10 years, up to $10,000.00 fine.)

Jamee Ladyral Womack, 21, from Marlin, pled guilty to continuous violence against the family. He was placed on 5 years deferred probation, assessed a $1,500.00 fine, ordered to complete 240 hours of community service, and attended and successfully complete a drug intervention program. Womack was arrested on March 25,2021, by Marlin Police Department.  

Kevin Wayne Miller, 41, Marlin, pled guilty to unlawful possession of firearm by felon. He was sentenced to 7 years confinement in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice System, assessed a $1,000.00 fine. Miller was arrested on November 26, 2020, by Falls County Sheriff’s Office.

Rickey Joe Mitchell, 35, from Cameron, pled guilty to bail jumping. He was placed on 5 years deferred probation, assessed a $1,500.00 fine, ordered to complete 320 hours of community service, and attend and successfully complete a drug intervention program. Mitchell was arrested on February 10, 2021, by Falls County Sheriffs Office. 

Jason Lee Hash, 39, from Marlin, pled guilty to bail jumping. He was placed on 2 years deferred probation, assessed a $1,000.00 fine, ordered to complete community service hours. Hash was arrested on February 9, 2021, by Falls County Sheriffs Office. 

Donald Wayne Ketcherside, 38, from Kansas, pled guilty to possession of tetrahydrocannabinol, less than one gram. He was placed on 5 years deferred probation, assessed a $1,500.00 fine, ordered to complete 180 hours of community service, and attend and successfully complete a drug intervention program. Ketcherside was arrested on September 15, 2020, by Lott Police Department. 

Joe McIntosh, 46, from Rosebud, pled guilty to possession of methamphetamine, over 1 gram but less than 4 grams. He was placed on 5 years deferred probation, assessed a $1,500.00 fine, ordered to complete 180 hours of community service, and attend and successfully complete a drug intervention program. McIntosh was arrested on April 24, 2020, by Lott Police Department. 

State Jail Felony (6 to 24 months, up to $10,000.00 fine.)

Cassandra Sue Cooper Simpson, 47, from Rosebud, pled guilty to possession of a controlled substance, methamphetamine, less than one gram. She was placed on 5 years deferred probation, assessed a $1,500.00 fine, ordered to complete 120 hours of community service, and attend and successfully complete a drug intervention program. Simpson was arrested on September 21, 2021, by Lott Police Department.  

Rickey Joe Mitchell, 35, from Cameron, pled guilty to bail jumping X2. He was placed on 5 years deferred probation. Mitchell was arrested on January 27, 2020, by Rosebud Police Department. 

Mary Jane Castillo, 44, from Marlin, pled guilty to possession of methamphetamine less than one gram. She was sentenced to 2 years confinement in a State Jail Facility. Her sentence was suspended, and she was placed on 5 years probation, assessed a $1,500.00 fine, ordered to complete 120 hours of community service, and attend and successfully complete a drug intervention program. Castillo was arrested on March 14, 2020, by Game Warden.

Harmony Cheynne Love, 26, from Cameron, pled guilty to possession of methamphetamine less than one gram. She was placed on 3 years deferred probation, assessed a $1,500.00 fine, ordered to complete 120 hours of community service, and attend and successfully complete a drug intervention program. Love was arrested on September 22, 2019, by Rosebud Police Department. 

Ashley Lydia Cannon, 41, from Eddy, pled guilty to unauthorized use of motor vehicle. She was placed on 2 years deferred probation, assessed a $500.00 fine, ordered to attend and successfully complete rehab. Cannon was arrested on March 24, 2021, by Falls County Sheriff’s Office.
