FALLS COUNTY FELONY DOCKET

On Feb. 28, 2023 and March 2, 2023, Judge Bryan F. Russ, Jr. convened court to hear felony matters presented by District Attorney Jody Gilliam.  The following felony cases were disposed of:  

 

1st Degree Felony (5 to 99 years or life, up to $10,000.00 fine.)

Antony Dunlap, 25, from Belton, who had been placed on probation for the offense of possession of tetrahydrocannabinol with intent to deliver, over 4 grams but less than 400 grams was revoked and sentenced to 5 years confinement in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice System. Dunlap was arrested on February 28, 2023, by Falls County Sheriff’s Office. 

 

3rd Degree Felony (2 to 10 years, up to $10,000.00 fine.)

Lionell Lamon Stricklin, 42, from Marlin, who had been placed on probation for the offense of violation protective order - assault/stalk X3 was revoked and sentenced to 10 years confinement in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice System. Stricklin  was arrested on January 14, 2023, by Marlin Police Department. 

Darrius Leon Brooks, 21, from Calvert, who had been placed on probation for the offense of evading arrest in a motor vehicle was revoked and sentenced to 4 years confinement in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice System. Brooks was arrested on February 27, 2023, by Falls County Sheriff’s Office.  

 

State Jail Felony (6 to 24 months, up to $10,000.00 fine.)

Jessica Lee Cox, 42, from Oklahoma, pled guilty to possession of methamphetamine less than one gram. She was placed on 3 years deferred probation, assessed a $1,500.00 fine, ordered to complete 120 hours of community service. Cox was arrested on January 14, 2022, by Lott Police Department. 

Catalina Guerrero, 33, from Chilton, pled guilty to possession of methamphetamine, less than one gram. She was placed on 3 years deferred probation, assessed a $1,500.00 fine, ordered to complete 120 hours of community service. Guerrero was arrested on November 20, 2022, by Marlin Police Department.

2nd Degree Felony (2 to 20 years, up to $10,000.00 fine.)

Reid Theron Howard, 27, from Corpus Christi, pled guilty to possession of methamphetamine more than four grams but less than 200 grams. He was placed on 10 years deferred probation, assessed a $1,500.00 fine, ordered to complete community service hours. Howard was arrested on December 17, 2021, by Marlin Police Department. 

Timesha Jane Evans, 30, from Marlin, pled guilty to aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. She was sentenced to 10 years confinement in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice System. Her sentence was suspended and she was placed on 10 years probation, assessed a $1,500.00 fine, ordered into a Substance Abuse Felony Punishment Program. Evans was arrested on October 13, 2022, by Marlin Police Department. 

Timesha Jane Evans, 30, from Marlin, pled guilty to burglary of habitation. She was placed on 10 years deferred probation. She was ordered into a Substance Abuse Felony Punishment Program. Evans was arrested on October 13, 2022, by Marlin Police Department. 

Joseph Steven Grams, Jr, 19, from Reagan, pled guilty to aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. He was placed on 7 years deferred probation, assessed a $1,500.00 fine, ordered to complete community service hours and attend and successfully complete a anger management program. Grams was arrested on July 22, 2022, by Falls County Sheriff’s Office. 

Dontrell Lamont Hayes, 33, from Marlin, pled guilty to possession of methamphetamine more than one gram but less than four grams. He was sentenced to 5 years confinement in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice System. Hayes was arrested on October 25, 2022, by Marlin Police Department.

3rd Degree Felony (2 to 10 years, up to $10,000.00 fine.)

Robett Janese Judie, 37, from Marlin, pled guilty to hindering apprehension or prosecution. She was placed on 5 years deferred probation, assessed a $1,500.00, ordered to complete community service hours. Judie was arrested on January 11, 2022, by Marlin Police Department. 

Judy Wright Hambrick, 52, from Marlin, pled guilty to evading arrest with vehicle. She was sentenced to 5 years confinement in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice System and assessed a $1,000.00 fine. Hambrick was arrested on November 11, 2022, by Marlin Police Department. 

Ashley Renee Guajardo, 32, from Lott, pled guilty to bail jumping. She was sentenced to 5 years confinement in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice System. Guajardo was arrested on January 30, 2022, by Falls County Sheriff’s Office. 

Oscar Jose Rodriguez, 45, from Houston, pled guilty to possession of methamphetamine four grams or more but less than 200 grams. He was sentenced to 5 years confinement in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice System. His sentence was suspended and he was placed on 5 years probation, assessed a $2,500.00 fine, ordered to complete community service hours. Rodriguez was arrested on November 11, 2021, by Marlin Police Department.

 

State Jail Felony (6 to 24 months, up to $10,000.00 fine.)

Ashley Renee Guajardo, 32, from Lott,  who had been placed on probation for the offense of possession of methamphetamine less than one gram has been revoked and sentenced to 18 months confinement in a State Jail Facility. Guajardo was arrested on January 30, 2022, by Falls County Sheriff’s Office. 

Dominic Lee Perez, 24, from Marlin, who had been placed on probation for the offense of burglary of building was revoked and sentenced to 20 months confinement in a State Jail Facility. Perez was arrested on February 16, 2023, by Falls County Sheriff’s Office.

Shawn Jason Turner, 43, from China Springs, pled guilty to burglary of a building. He was sentenced to 16 months confinement in a State Jail Facility. Turner was arrested on January 30, 2023, by Falls County Sheriff’s Office.

Anthony Elijah Garza, 22, from Eddy, pled guilty to possession of tetrahydrocannabinol less than one gram. He was placed on 3 years deferred, assessed a $1,000.00 fine, ordered to complete community service hours. Garza was arrested on September 12, 2019, by Lott Police Department. 

Timesha Jane Evans, 30, from Marlin, pled guilty to possession of tetrahydrocannabinol less than one gram. She was placed on 10 years deferred probation and ordered into a Substance Abuse Felony Punishment Program. Evans was arrested on October 13, 2022, by Marlin Police Department. 

Judy Wright Hambrick, 52, from Marlin, pled guilty to possession of cocaine less than one gram. She was sentenced to 20 months confinement in a State Jail Facility. Hambrick was arrested on November 10, 2022, by Marlin Police Department.
