FALLS COUNTY FELONY DOCKET

On September 30, 2021, October 14 and 28, 2021, Judge Bryan F. Russ, Jr. convened court to hear felony matters presented by District Attorney Jody Gilliam.  The following felony cases were disposed of:  

 

2nd Degree Felony (2 to 20 years, up to $10,000.00 fine.)

Ikbal Zidane, 29, from Houston, pled guilty to possession of tetrahydrocannabinol over four grams but less than four hundred grams. She was placed on 5 years deferred probation, assessed a $1,500.00 fine, ordered to complete community service hours and complete a drug intervention program. Zidane was arrested on January 15, 2018, by Marlin Police Department. 

Samuel David Amonette, 37, from Marlin, pled guilty to assault date/family/household impede breath/circulation with previous conviction. He was placed on 5 years deferred probation, assessed a $1,000.00 fine, ordered into a felony substance abuse program. Amonette was arrested on September 2, 2021, by Marlin Police Department. 

Detra Darlene Jones, 51, from Caddomills, TX, pled guilty to possession of methamphetamine over four grams but less than two hundred grams. She was placed on 5 years deferred probation, assessed a $2,000.00 fine, ordered to complete community service hours and complete a drug intervention program. Jones was arrested on February 09, 2021, by Lott Police Department.  

 

3rd Degree Felony (2 to 10 years, up to $10,000.00 fine.)

Leon Dewayne Landrum, 34, from Marlin, who had been placed on probation for the offense of assault family/household member impede breath/circulation, was revoked from probation, and sentenced to 5 years confinement in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice System. 

Leon Dewayne Landrum, 34, from Marlin, pled guilty to evading arrest detention in a motor vehicle. He was sentenced to 5 years confinement in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice System, assessed a $500.00 fine. Landrum was arrested on September 25, 2021, by Marlin Police Department. 

Derrick Depaul Solomon, 34, from Marlin, pled guilty to assault family violence with previous conviction. He was sentenced to 10 years confinement in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice System. His sentence was suspended, and he was placed on 10 years probation, assessed a $1,500.00 fine, ordered to complete community service hours and anger management program. Solomon was arrested on March 14, 2020, by Marlin Police Department.  

Derrick Depaul Solomon, 34, from Marlin, pled guilty to bail jumping. He was sentenced to 10 years confinement in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice System. His sentence was suspended, and he was placed on 10 years probation, assessed a $1,500.00 fine, ordered to complete community service hours. Solomon was arrested on March 14, 2020, by Marlin Police Department

Ronnie Dale Caldwell, 36, from Waco, who had been placed on probation for the offense of assault family/household member impede breath/circulation, was revoked from probation, and sentenced to 5 years confinement the Texas Department of Criminal Justice System. 

Ronnie Dale Caldwell, 36, from Waco, who had been placed on probation for the offense of injury to a child/elderly/disabled person with intent bodily injury, was revoked from probation and sentenced to 5 years confinement the Texas Department of Criminal Justice System. 

Logan Kade Venegas, 19 from Waco, pled guilty to evading arrest in a motor vehicle. He was placed on 3 years deferred probation, assessed a $1,500.00 fine, ordered to complete community service hours, and complete a drug intervention program. Venegas was arrested on April 28,2021, by Marlin Police Department. 

Ulyssess Lopez, 47, from McGregor, pled guilty to possession of methamphetamine over one gram but less than four grams. He was sentenced to 10 years confinement in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice System. Lopez was arrested on October 3, 2019, by Marlin Police Department.

Samuel David Amonette, 37, from Marlin, pled guilty to injury to an elderly person. He was placed on 5 years deferred probation, assessed a $1,000.00 fine, ordered into a felony substance abuse program. Amonette was arrested on September 2, 2021, by Marlin Police Department. 

 

State Jail Felony (6 to 24 months, up to $10,000.00 fine.)

Randi Lou Pierotto, 34, from Azle, Texas, who had been placed on probation for the offense of possession of methamphetamine, less than one gram, was revoked from probation, and sentenced to 18 months confinement in a State Jail Facility. 

Shannon Nicole Lahue, 35, from Temple, pled guilty to possession of cocaine less than one gram. She was sentenced to 2 years confinement in a State Jail Facility. Her sentence was suspended and she was placed on 4 years probation, assessed a $1,500.00 fine, ordered to complete community service hours. Lahue was arrested on March 31, 2021, by Lott Police Department. 

Jessica Danielle Stimmel, 36, from Lott, pled guilty to possession of methamphetamine less than one gram. She was placed on 5 years deferred probation, assessed a $1,500.00 fine, ordered to complete community service hours and complete a drug intervention class. Stimmel was arrested on May 29, 2021, by Lott Police Department. 

Logan Kade Venegas, 19 from Waco, pled guilty to possession of methamphetamine less than one gram. He was placed on 3 years deferred probation. Venegas was arrested on July 18, 2020, by Marlin Police Department.  

Kristen Loraine Lilley, 31, from Rosebud, pled guilty to unauthorized use of motor vehicle. She was sentenced to 18 months confinement in a State Jail Facility, assessed a $1,000.00 fine. Lilley was arrested on January 16, 2021, by Falls County Sheriff’s Office. 

Charles Joseph Ferguson, 25, from Nolanville, who has been placed on probation for the offense of possession of tetrahydrocannabinol less than one gram, was revoked from probation and sentenced to 18 months confinement in a State Jail Facility. 

Laurie Ann Repasi, 51, from Marlin, who had been placed on probation for the offense of forgery financial instrument X2, was revoked from probation, and sentenced to 18 months confinement in a State Jail Facility.
