FALLS COUNTY FELONY DOCKET

On July 14, 2022, Judge Bryan F. Russ, Jr. convened court to hear felony matters presented by District Attorney Jody Gilliam.  The following felony cases were disposed of:  

 

2nd Degree Felony (2 to 20 years, up to $10,000.00 fine.)

Angelo Rene Aleman, 25, from Desoto, who had been placed on probation for the offense of sexual assault has been revoked and sentenced to 10 years confinement in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice System.

Charles Hayes, Jr, 19, from Marlin, pled guilty to aggravated assault with a deadly weapon X4. He was sentenced to 10 years confinement in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice System and assessed a $1,000.00 fine. Hayes was arrested on November 11, 2020, by Marlin Police Department.

Jacorey Lee Davis, 20, from Marlin, pled guilty to aggravated assault with a deadly weapon X3. He was sentenced to 10 years confinement in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice System and assessed a $1,000.00 fine. Davis was arrested on October 04, 2021, by Marlin Police Department. 

Dae’Breun Kentrell Horton, 19, from Marlin, pled guilty to aggravated assault with a deadly weapon X3. He was sentenced to 10 years confinement in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice System and assessed a $1,000.00 fine. Horton was arrested on August 26, 2021, by Marlin Police Department.

David Espinoza, 22, from Marlin, pled guilty to aggravated assault with a deadly weapon X2. He was sentenced to 10 years confinement in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice System and assessed a $1,000.00 fine. Espinoza was arrested on May 22, 2020, by Falls County Sheriff’s Office. 

 

3rd Degree Felony (2 to 10 years, up to $10,000.00 fine.)

Chelisi Ann Tadlock, 32, from Weatherford, pled guilty to possession of THC, less than one gram. She was placed on 2 years deferred probation, assessed a $1,000.00 fine, ordered to complete 120 hours community service. Tadlock was arrested on July 20, 2021, by Lott Police Department. 

Lee Roy Keggins, 63, from Chilton, pled guilty to possession of methamphetamine, less than one gram. He was placed on 5 years deferred probation, assessed a $1,500.00 fine, ordered to complete 120 hours of community service. Keggins was arrested on September 06,  2021, by Lott Police Department.  

Larry Charles Brunson, 48, from Chilton, pled guilty to possession of prohibited weapon shotgun. He was placed on 5 years deferred probation, assessed a $1,500.00 fine, ordered to complete 120 hours of community service. Brunson was arrested on May 13, 2022, Marlin Police Department. 

Jimmie Lee Diles, 57, from Marlin, pled guilty to drriving while intoxicated 3rd or more. He was sentenced to 10 years confinement in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice. His sentence was suspended and he was placed on 10 years probation, assessed a $2,500.00 fine. Diles was ordered into the substance abuse felony punishment facility. Diles was arrested on January 29, 2022, by Falls County Sheriff’s Office.

Nicholas Wayne Klecka, 27, from Leander, pled guilty to possession of methamphetamine, less four grams. He was placed on 5 years deferred probation, assessed a $1,500.00 fine, ordered to complete 180 hours of community service. Klecka was arrested on March 29, 2022, by Lott Police Department.

Reid Austin Gathings, 39, from Marlin, who had been placed on probation for the offense of theft of cattle/horse/exotic livestock <$150K, was revoked and sentenced to 3 years confinement in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice System. 

 

State Jail Felony (6 to 24 months, up to $10,000.00 fine.)

Gabrielle Rena Hutchinson, 23, from Groesbeck, pled guilty to possession of a controlled substance methamphetamine, less than one gram. She was placed on 3 years deferred probation, assessed a $1,500.00 fine, ordered to complete 120 hours of community service. Hutchinson was arrested on July 17, 2021, by Lott Police Department.
