Local Halloween event seeking volunteers

Local event planners are turning to the Marlin community to organize the 2nd Annual Walk-Thru Halloween Party. 

Last year, kids were rained out, but still had an awesome time at the indoor party, held at the Booker T. Washington Resource Center.

“Thank you again to all that helped last year,” said MJ Johnson. “We need the community’s help once again to make the 2nd Annual Halloween Party a success.”

The event is in the works for Saturday, Oct. 31, but coordinators are still seeking volunteers. 

Volunteering can be anything from set-up, decorating, clean-up, and/or dressing up/etc. 

The event will take place from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. and all participants are required to wear a facial covering and adhere to social distancing guidelines.
