Meals on Wheels Needs You

Do you have one hour out of your week available to help make someone’s day special? ¬†Meals on Wheels is looking for volunteers who care about older adults and who care about whether they are remembered or forgotten. ¬† Older adults in your town would like for you to remember them, and they would also like to make your day. “I have found that when I deliver meals to our homebound seniors, I feel better about my whole day, and about myself. ¬†They have interesting stories of their lives; they love to give me a hug, and if they hurt too much to be touched, a big smile works for them as well,” said volunteer Byrleen Terry.
