Total confusion after school board voted December 5, to not renew Superintendent Michael Seabolt contract with Marlin Independent School District but offers Seabolt interim position. Seabolt’s contract ended November 30. Knowingly Marlin ISD and Texas Education Agency have been battling, due to low-test scores over the past few years. Texas Education Agency reconsiders Seabolt to be the interim; board of managers will be established between January15-January 30.
