Old Brazos River has water

Highway 7 about 2 miles west of Marlin is where the old Brazos River was before it changed course in 1866.
The river moved nearly 3 miles West after a flood in 1866. There’s seldom much water there.
The old Falls on the Brazos also changed location around that time.
