Runbeck Election Services Mails Ballots for Texas Primary Election

Runbeck Election Services contracted to print and mail ballots for several Texas counties

Belton, Texas (June 17, 2020) - Runbeck Election Services (Runbeck), an elections services company focused on delivering election printing, equipment and software solutions, announced that ballots have been mailed to their customers in the state of Texas for the upcoming primary election on July 14, 2020.

“We are proud to support Texas’ vote-by-mail efforts across the state,” said Kevin Runbeck, Chief Executive Officer for Runbeck Election Services. “We are honored to help ensure the health and safety of Texas residents while preserving confidence in the electoral process for every registered voter.”

The Texas primary election was postponed from its original date of May 26 in response to risks associated with spreading the coronavirus. Federal and state health officials have discouraged large gatherings of people to reduce the spread of coronavirus. Additionally, most volunteer poll workers fall into high risk groups for severe complications from COVID-19.

The last day voters can submit a mail-in ballot application to their county clerk to vote by mail in the July 14 primary election is July 2. More information about the Texas primary election is available at votetexas.gov.
