Falls County Internet Connectivity Survey
Falls County is asking the local community to participate in a survey about internet connectivity and usage. All residents are invited to participate in a 10-minute survey designed to assess internet needs and uses throughout the community.
Survey data collected throughout the engagement will be used to support ongoing efforts related to the Digital Empowerment Centers, located at the Chilton ISD campus and City of Golinda City Hall.
Residents are encouraged to participate in this brief survey. The survey can be accessed by visiting this link: https://connectednation. org/community- engagements/ falls-county-texas.
“When families can’t access the internet at home or residents don’t have the digital skills needed to navigate online applications, they can’t fully participate in today’s education, economy, or community. I encourage everyone in Falls County to take a few minutes to complete this survey so we can understand what our community needs and make meaningful progress to help our whole community thrive,” said Dr. Brandon Hubbard, Superintendent, Chilton ISD.
Questions in the survey include: “How is the device you’re using to complete this survey connected to the internet?”; To which type of internet service do you subscribe?”; and “How much do you pay for internet service each month?”
This effort is made possible by a Microsoft grant and the support of Nextlink Internet, Falls County, the City of Golinda, Chilton ISD, Connected Nation, and Human-I-T.
