Marlin ISD names new Athletic Director

Marlin Independent School District has announced that Head Football Coach Jeff Rogers will take on an expanded leadership role as Athletic Director beginning with the 2025-2026 school year.

Rogers, who currently leads the Marlin Bulldogs football program, brings leadership and dedication to his new position overseeing all district athletic programs.

Joining him is Head Girls’ Basketball Coach Michael Mitchell, who has been named Assistant Athletic Director. Together, Rogers and Mitchell will lead the district’s athletics into a new chapter of growth and development.

District officials encouraged the community to join them in congratulating Coach Rogers and expressed excitement about the positive impact he will have on student-athletes and the broader school community.
