Miss Central Texas Pageant Set for July 26 at Marlin High School

The stage is set for one of Central Texas’s most anticipated annual events as 13 young women from across the region prepare to compete in the 2025 Miss Central Texas Pageant on Saturday, July 26, at 7:00 p.m. at the Marlin High School Auditorium.

Representing Bell, Falls, Limestone, McLennan, and Robertson counties, the contestants will vie for the prestigious title of Miss Central Texas and a $1,500 college scholarship, along with a crown, sash, roses, and a prize package generously donated by local merchants.

Sponsored by the Alpha Kappa Sigma sorority, the evening promises elegance and entertainment, featuring returning hosts Rissa Shaw and Wesley Walker as masters of ceremony.

The competition includes individual interviews with the judges, as well as judged segments in spirit wear and evening wear.

The top five finalists will advance to an on-stage question round before the judges complete their final tabulations. The winner will be crowned by 2024 Miss Central Texas, Addison Wilde, in a celebratory finale.

In addition to the title and top scholarship, the pageant will award $1,000, $750, $500, and $250 scholarships to the first through fourth runnersup. Special recognition and prizes will also be given for People’s Choice (accompanied by a $500 scholarship), Miss Congeniality, Most Photogenic, and the Top 5 finalists, all thanks to the support of local businesses.

A heartwarming highlight of the evening will be the Princess Program, featuring girls ages 5 to 9 who were paired with each contestant during a summer workshop. Each princess will join her contestant onstage during the evening wear segment and will also perform a group dance routine — a touching display of mentorship and community spirit.

Tickets are $10 per person and will be available for purchase at the door the night of the event. Attendees can expect an uplifting celebration of talent, confidence, and character as these remarkable young women showcase their best in pursuit of the Miss Central Texas crown.
