Three injured in crash involving Marlin police vehicle in Temple

A rollover crash involving a Marlin Police Department vehicle left three people injured Wednesday afternoon in Temple, according to the Temple Police Department.

Officers were dispatched around 2:05 p.m. on May 14 to the 22500 block of SE HK Dodgen Loop for a reported traffic accident. Upon arrival, they discovered that a Marlin police unit had been t-boned in an intersection while transporting an individual, causing the vehicle to roll over.

All three individuals involved were transported to the hospital by EMS with non-life-threatening injuries.

The Temple Police Department’s Traffic Unit is investigating the incident. Authorities have not released additional information at this time.
