Water Main Repairs Completed in Marlin After Contractor Strike

Repairs have been completed after a contractor struck a water main near the Royal Drive water tower on Thursday afternoon, according to the City of Marlin.

The incident, which occurred Thursday, Oct. 2, led to a loss of water pressure in parts of the city.

City officials announced Thursday evening that repairs were finished and that residents and businesses should begin seeing improvements in water pressure.

A boil water notice was issued and rescinded on Monday morning.
