Wrong-Way Driver and Passenger Killed in Fiery Crash on SH-6
A wrong-way driver and their passenger, Christopher Woycheshin, 71, and Terry Woyschesin, 67 of Marlin, were killed this afternoon after colliding head-on with a semi-truck on State Highway 6 near County Road 105, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS).
The crash occurred around 12:45 p.m. when a passenger car traveling in the wrong direction struck a truck tractor semi-trailer in the northbound lanes. The impact caused the truck to overturn, while the car became fully engulfed in flames.
DPS reported that the driver and passenger of the car were pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the semi-truck sustained only minor injuries. Troopers continue to investigate the circumstances leading up to the crash.
