Story Time

Children’s Story Time returns to the Marlin Library on Tuesdays at 10:30 a.m.

 

BTW Alumni Marlin Chapter

The BTW Alumni Association Marlin Chapter will meet Thursday, Aug. 26, 2021, at 6 p.m. at the Alumni Building, 216 Falls. Anyone who attended BTW or graduated from BTW are welcomed to attend. For more info, call (979) 739-0219.

 

Open House

Summer Photo Challenge

Marlin Perspective is looking for submissions for a contest running through Sept. 15. Photo classes are color, B/W, people, and architecture. A blind jury will select the winners. Grand prize winners will be shown at the Fall Chili Cook-off in October. For information or to submit photos email tourism@marlintx.net.

 

Local Youth Program

Gospel Lighthouse Church invites all youths within the community to Foundation Youth, an hour and a half long time of games, food, fun, and fellowship. It takes place each Sunday evening from 5-6:30 p.m. at 1009 Live Oak in Marlin.

 

After School Program

The Boys & Girls Club of Falls County has an after school program that offers things such as homework help, health and life skills, and individual tutoring. It is $25 per child. NAACP

NAACP will meet every fourth Thursday of the month at 6 p.m. at the Falconer Stamp Center on Durr Street.

 

Lions Club meeting

Lions Club of Marlin will meet every second and fourth Tuesday of each month at 12 p.m. at the Chicken Place.
