Computer Classes continue at the Marlin Library on Mondays at 10:30 a.m.

 

Story Time

Children’s Story Time returns to the Marlin Library on Tuesdays at 10:30 a.m.

 

Faith, hope and charity registration

Registration for Faith, Hope and Charity will be held July 26-30 from 3-6 p.m. Monday, Wednesday and Friday and from noon to 3 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday. At 405 East First Street. Grades Pre-K through Fifth Grade. Each class will consist of six students. All students must be present with parents during registration an all applicants will be done at FHC. Mexia West District Revival

The Mexia West District (MWD) will be in revival 7 p.m., Monday through Wednesday, Aug. 2-4, at Little Benjamin Church of God in Christ, 701 Walnut St, Lott. 

Monday service will feature the anointing of school children, teachers and administrators.   The anointing service is open to all and anointing oil and prayer cloths will be available.  For more information email, mexiawestdistrict@gmail.com.

The revival service is being conducted by the missionaries of the MWD, where Pastor Ozell Hall is the superintendent.  District churches include Little Benjamin COGIC, Power House COGIC (Marlin), and Rock of Ages COGIC (Waco).

 

Local Youth Program

Gospel Lighthouse Church invites all youths within the community to Foundation Youth, an hour and a half long time of games, food, fun, and fellowship. It takes place each Sunday evening from 5-6:30 p.m. at 1009 Live Oak in Marlin.

 

Veterans Assistance

Caritas of Waco Inc. will be in Marlin every first and third Monday of the month as part of their Veterans Case Management Program: Assistance For Veterans / Outreach. After School Program

The Boys & Girls Club of Falls County has an after school program that offers things such as homework help, health and life skills, and individual tutoring. It is $25 per child. Indoor Vendor’s Market

The Marlin Indoor Vendors Market takes place weekly at 215 Live Oak Street, Marlin from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The market is also seeking vendors. The building is climate controlled. Lions Club meeting

Lions Club of Marlin will meet every second and fourth Tuesday of each month at 12 p.m. at the Chicken Place.
