Those running for Mayor of Marlin have finally been selected, the race is just beginning, but anticipation for who will be in the seat at the end of the upcoming election is already on the rise.
Currently the position is being held by Elizabeth J. Nelson.
In 2011, she was elected as the second female Mayor of Marlin in office in its 145 year history.
