Booker T Washington Ex-Students looking for new membership

The Booker T. Washington Ex-Student Association Membership Committee is currently working toward contacting and recruiting new members to join us in increasing our membership growth.

The Association owns, maintains, and provides hourly meeting clots for the building located on Falls Street in Marlin. This building is used by the community for numerous affairs including weddings, birthday parties, baby showers, funeral repasts, family reunions and various organizational meetings.

The members are currently preparing to grant five scholarships to Marlin High School seniors that are graduating this year. We are also in the planning stages of our annual BTW 4th of July weekend, which always includes our parade and social events.

If you have connection to the Marlin community, we would like to have you join us in our membership growth project. Please come and work with us in planning and carrying out projects for the summer.

If you have suggestions or skills that you would like to utilize to help the community, we would like to hear from you and have you become a part of our organization.

Currently we have a National Chapter and six local chapters.

Marlin, Waco, Fort Worth and Austin/San Antonio chapters host in-person and phone conference meetings.

Houston and Dallas chapters host meetings via ZOOM and phone conference. National and local dues combined total between $50-60 per year.
