Booker T. Washington Reunion 2025 deadlines

The Booker T. Washington (BTW) Reunion Committee has been busy finalizing plans for its upcoming school reunion, July 4-6, 2025. All events will take place at the BTW Alumni & Ex-Students Educational Association building at 216 Falls St. Outside rentals will not be accepted during this time frame.

Carolyn Kiker King , c/o ’68, is the reunion chair. The theme, “Celebrating the Legacy of BTW Today and Beyond” will highlight the Class of ’75 as they celebrate their 50th class anniversary.

Although the class did not graduate from the BTW school campus, the learning foundation was set for so many of the students while at BTW. The theme also reflects the vision of remembering the legacy of those who attended the former Black school which, due to integration, eventually was closed as an additional high school in Marlin in 1968.

The deadline to submit copy-ready ads for the reunion souvenir book is Monday, April 28. The cost of ads is Full page black/white ($150), Color ($200); Half page black/ white ($75), Color ($100); One-fourth page black/white ($50), Color ($75); Eighth page (business card) $25.

Early ($70) pre-registration ends Monday, May 5. Late ($80) registration is May 6-July 3. On-site registration July 4 is ($85). Registration packets include a Souvenir Book, 3-day event tickets, reunion tote and individual chapter tokens.
