Butler receives special recognition

Later in the month of December 2018, local resident Jay Moore Butler Jr, received an invitation letter from the Gamma Upsilon Chapter of the National Sorority of Phi Delta Kappa Inc.
The organization sent the letter to Mr. Butler, cordially inviting him to join as honoree at their annual Black History Observance Banquet, that will be held on Saturday, February 9, at the Bellmead Civic Center.
Every year the organization honors outstanding community leaders who make it their mission in life to serve their community by positively impacting and encouraging the youth to be positive contributors to society.
