Eight-liners and other amusement games — what to do about them and how to regulate them, if approved, was the lead agenda item for the Falls County Commissioners Court March 26. Tax Assessor-Collector Kayci Nehring gave a presentation to commissioners encouraging them to approve legitimate, state-allowed machines. She said that with the county allowing machines that are state-legal, the licenses would mean additional county money. By law, such machines need both a local license from the county and one from the Texas Comptroller’s Office
