City council election set for May 4

Marlin voters will decide on one contested race for City Council on May 4.
Voters in Precinct 1 will decide between incumbent Sonia Ponce and Michael Milnes.
Precinct 2 and Precinct 6 had no contested races so Morris Watson Jr. and Joe Mark Taylor will be elected to those spots respectively.
Early voting began Monday and will run through next Tuesday. Voting is from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. April 22-26 and April 29-30. at the Falls County Annex, 1910 Industrial Park Road in Marlin.
Election Day voting will take place from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the Falls County Annex, 1910 Industrial Park Road in Marlin on May 4.
