Collision in Marlin Results in Minor Injuries Despite Severe Vehicle Damage

A collision that could have ended in tragedy resulted in only minor injuries for all involved in Marlin on Wednesday, July 30. Both vehicles sustained substantial damage, but the occupants of the semi-truck and sedan remained relatively unharmed.

The bridge over the spillway on FM 147 was temporarily closed for debris cleanup following the accident. According to the Marlin Volunteer Fire Department, the semi-truck was not carrying a load at the time of the crash.
