Court turns down towing contract

Earlier in the month a proposal for a towing contract between the Sheriff’s Office and one of the three towing companies in Marlin was presented to the court.

The idea came from Sheriff Scaman, who expressed his concern and frustration with the current rotation agreement with the SO and the wrecker services. During their last meeting on May 22, the court discussed the proposed contract once more.
