Marlin Police Chief Hommel presents Life Saving Awards to Falls County Sgt. Godley and Deputy Hoy. On Aug. 24 Sgt. Godley and Deputy Hoy assisted in administering Narcan to a Marlin Police Officer who came in contact with an unknown substance on a traffic stop that led to the Officer experiencing overdose symptoms. The quick response of the Deputies and other Marlin Officers saved a fellow Officers life.
