DKG Society International Beta Nu Chapter: Impact Education Worldwide

Moving forward with fortitude: Communication, Commitment, Collaboration. 

The Beta Nu Chapter of Delta Kappa Gamma Society International continues to participate and contribute to several of its programs.

This past month, Beta Nu Chapter members assembled greeting cards packets with USPS stamps for incarcerated women’s use during the rapidly-approaching holiday season, donated books to the new Rotary Free Library, supported teaching in Zambia with much-needed pencils and funds for other school materials, celebrated the brief visit of DKG Beta Nu Sister Carolyn Groseclose from teaching in Southern Africa. Sheila Lawson is making door wreaths for added residents at Golden Years Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Marlin. 

Since its chartering on November 2, 1935, the Delta Kappa Gamma Society International Beta Nu Chapter has remained committed to  professional and personal growth of women educators and excellence in education. Beta Nu Chapter is dedicated to serving the community as it focuses on scholarship and supports leading women educators to impact education worldwide.
