Doctor to open practice at Falls Community Hospital

Jeffrey Lyle, CEO of Falls Community Hospital & Clinic, along with the Board of Directors, has announced that Michael J. Jenks M.D. has joined the FCHC medical staff. 

Dr. Jenks brings with him 22 years of experience in Family Medicine, having graduated from the University Of California San Diego School Of Medicine in 1994. 

After completing his residency there, he was employed as a military doctor and was stationed in Tucson, Arizona at the Davis – Monthan Air Force Base from 1997-2001. 

During his time as a military physician, he was deployed to Saudi Arabia for six months. 

After retiring from the military, he moved to Abilene, Texas to be close to family and worked in urgent care there for 11 years. In 2012, Dr. Jenks had the opportunity to open his own medical practice in Dallas where he focused on family medicine, occupational medicine and urgent care. In his free time, he enjoys horseback riding, hiking and fishing.
