Falls County Crop Tour

Falls County Crop Tour event will be held on June 19 from 7:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. beginning at David and Gary Herzog Corn Plot located at CR 383 and 379 (Westphalia) Lott. 

Registration will begin at 7:30 a.m. Participants will receive 3 CEU’s, 1 in Integrated Pest Management, 1 Law and Regulations and 1 General. Topics that will be discussed are Agriculture Commodity Market Outlook and Update, Nitrogen Management in Soils, Integrated Pest Management Update, and Texas Department of Agriculture Laws and Regulations Update.

The event will provide 3 CEU’s for both private and commercial pesticide applicators. Private license holders must obtain 15 CEUs in a 5-year license cycle. Many of these licenses expire on Feb. 28 of various years. Commercial and non-commercial licenses holders must receive 5 CEUs annually.
