Falls County Misdemeanors Court July 15

On July 15, 2020, Judge Jay Elliott convened Falls County Court to hear misdemeanor cases. The following cases were disposed of, others were rest. 

Class A Misdemeanors

Michelle Lynn Jones-Turnbo, 42, from Marlin,  pled guilty to fail to id fugitive give false information. She was sentenced to 30 days confinement in the Falls County Jail with credit for 30 days time served. She was ordered to pay court cost. Jones-Turnbo was arrested on September 2, 2019, by Marlin Police Department.  

Class B Misdemeanors

Michelle Lynn Jones-Turnbo, 42, from Marlin,  pled guilty to criminal trespass. She was sentenced to 30 days confinement in the Falls County Jail with credit for 30 days time served. She was ordered to pay court cost. Jones-Turnbo was arrested on October 23, 2018, by Marlin Police Department

Rachel Ellen Williams, 26, from Eddy, pled guilty to possession of marijuana less than two ounces. She was sentenced to 3 days confinement in the Falls County jail with credit for 3 days time served. She was ordered to pay court costs. Williams was arrested on March 15, 2020, by Falls County Sheriffs Office. 

Gregory Hernandez, 47, from Rosebud, pled guilty to driving while intoxicated. He was sentenced to 6  months confinement in the Falls County Jail. His sentence was suspended and he was placed on 16 months probation. He was assessed a $1,500.00 fine and order to pay court costs. Hernandez was arrested on March 7, 2020, by Rosebud Police Department. 

Torian Luis-Surrey Laury, 28, from Marlin, pled guilty to possession of marijuana less than two ounces. He was placed on 12 months deferred probation and assessed a $500.00 fine. He was ordered to pay court costs. Laury was arrested on December 16, 2019, by Fall County Sheriff’s Office. 

Shannon Hope Hicks, 37, from Lott, pled guilty to criminal trespass. She was sentenced to 3 days confinement in the Falls County Jail with credit for 3 days time served. She was assessed a $100.00 fine and ordered to pay court costs. Hicks was arrested on December 1, 2019, by Lott Police Department.
