Food for Families is November 20, 2020!

Food for Families food is gathered, stored and distributed at no cost to people in our community. 

The drive to begin gathering food is on! The donations and commitment of our community allows us, that means all of us -- residents, business owners, church organizations, medical facilities, banking institutions, schools, restaurant franchises, Rotary Club, Lions Club, societies, everyone --  to focus on providing food to our local community. On November 20th, donations of canned goods will be dropped off at a new site, its location to be announced next week. 

H.E.B. offers $5 tickets for food products which on November 20th will be delivered to Falls County Samaritan House in Marlin for ongoing food distributions.

As added incentive, the group or persons which contribute the most will be recognized in a special way after the Food for Families drive. As usual, Channel 10 KWTX will be visiting Marlin throughout November 20th. Be sure and catch yourself on camera!

During this exceptionally, economically difficult time for communities, our Food for Families drive ensures that families will have access to adequate nutritious food. That is why it is important to remember: food collected in Marlin as Food for Families will stay in Marlin and why a unified effort by all works best.
