Food Truck Rally, Lions Car Show set for Saturday

Fun comes to downtown Marlin on June 12.

The Food Truck Rally and Lions Club Car Show will be on the courthouse square.

The Texas National Guard will have their 30-foot RK Games Trailer for kids out on Saturday also.

Food trucks participating in the event are: OMG BBQ of Marlin; Artisan Wood Pizza from Waco; Mason’s from Marlin; Krab Kingz from Waco; Board Walk on Elm from Waco; Fat Ho Burger from Waco; Taco Waco from Waco; Fry Daddy from Dallas; Cajun Kowboy from Dallas; Kona Ice from Waco; and Tamale Food Truck from Marlin.

Come out and see who will take home the grand champion title.

Organizer Michael Magouirk said that next year’s event will have a big food truck rally and will take place in June of next year so they are looking for more food trucks for that event. The fee for that will be $250 and it will benefit the Marlin Boys and Girls Club. There will be other vendors and music all day. For more information on this event call (254) 424-1177.
