Golden Years is cooking “something up”

Those from the Golden Years Nursing Home have been hard at work planning a wonderful event for the community.

The event is set to be a delightful chicken spaghetti dinner that will include chicken spaghetti, salad, green beans, garlic bread and of course a sweet side dessert and refreshing drink to quench the thirst of the attendees.

There is also scheduled to be a “Welcome Fall” basket raffle to go along with the dinner. At a cost of only $1.00 for one ticket and $5.00 for six tickets you will enter yourself into the raffle to win this awesome fall themed basket.

You may of course contact any of the employees at Golden Years for tickets or ticket information, as the winner will be announced sometime on Friday, September 22.

The dinner itself is scheduled to be hosted on Thursday, September 21, between the hours of 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. or until all of the plates have been sold.

Marked at only $12.00 per plate per person, this will be a “To Go” only dinner. For anyone who is not familiar with the Marlin area the event will be located at the Golden Years Nursing Home at 318 Chambers Street.
