Hispanic Heritage Month

Willie Keener, art teacher at Marlin Elementary, assisted by Mrs. Womack hosted an art Exhibit with works from his elementary students. About 150 parents and students attended the Hispanic Heritage Month Celebration here in Marlin ISD. The Latino Art Contest representative, 94.5 The Beat, Dexter Hall Financial Literacy Consultant and school leaders were in attendance. Keener said this was a day to celebrate Hispanic culture and its contributions.
