Honoring 2021 Bulldogs

On May 14 Marlin ISD honored the achievements made by Head Football Coach/Athletic Director Ruben Torres and the Marlin High School football team. This season was one for the record books, as our school was the first in Texas history to receive the Jinx Tucker and Gordon Wood awards in the same season. Additionally, Coach Torres was named coach of the year by two of the state’s most respected authorities on high school football (Dave Campbell’s and the Padilla Poll).
