How to access Falls County Courthouse Services

Tax Office

The Falls County Tax Office will not be processing face to face transactions. The State of Texas has extended the deadline for motor vehicle transactions until May 17, 2020.

Vehicle renewals can be processed and temporary permits can be purchased online at www.txdmv.gocv. Tax Payments can be made online at www.texasonlinerecords.com.

Elections Office

Voter registration is open online at https://teamrv-mvp.sos.texas.gov. Those without access to a computer can call (254)883-1521 for assistance. The Primary runoff election will be held May 26, 2020.

DPS/Driver’s License Office

As of March 18, the Texas Department of Public Safety issued a statement concerning license expiration dates. An expired license will be considered valid as long as the expiration date is on or after March 13, 2020 and within 60 days of the end of the State of Disaster. This applies to expiration dates only. Licenses that have been suspended, revoked, or any other status not valid for driving will not be considered valid and must be used for identification purposes only. The office will be closed during this time. 

Clerk’s Offices

The Falls County Clerk’s Office will not be processing transactions face to face. Marriage License applications are by appointment only. Certified copies of marriage license and birth certificates can be gotten by emailing countyclerk@co.falls.tx.us. Deed records cannot be accessed in the office, but can be found online at www.texaslandrecords.com. All county forms are available on the Falls County Website.
