Keener receives distinguished award

Willie Keener is now a 4 time recipient of the Texas Art Education Association (TAEA) District of Distinction Award and this award has been in existence for 4 years. Marlin ISD is now ranked in the top 5% of all schools in the State of Texas in Visual Arts with the District of Distinction. Willie says, “What an honor while working at Marlin ISD. I would like to thank Dr. Henson, Mrs. Edwards and all the sponsors for trusting my vision and allowing me to bring this distinguished award into fruition. May you have continued success.”
