Lions host meeting

Marlin hosted the Lion’s Club District 2-X3 Mid-Winter Conference last week. The convention was the culmination of three years of work, especially when COVID hit. Michael Magouirk said that most smaller cities don’t host these conventions, so it’s very good for Marlin to host. Guest Speaker T.J. Tijerina and his wife reported a very comfortable stay at Executive Inn and an excellent dinner at El Charro. Tijerina is the International Director of Lions Club International. He’s from Del Rio and has always wanted to visit Marlin.
