Marlin’s mineral water brings visitors seeking health, wellness
Visitors recently came to Marlin to partake of the hot mineral waters, but also to help raise and perk the public’s interest in balneology.
Balneology is the study of the art and science of baths and bathing in natural mineral waters for health and wellness purposes.
Janet Abbott and Professor Paul De Vierville are with the non-profit group BANA. BANA’s mission is to inspire cooperation and collaboration between various private and public groups, communities and institutions that serve and benefit from the responsible use of natural mineral waters for wellness and healing. Also with them were Gene Fowler and Luanne Abbott.
With the growing interest in natural healing, they said Marlin should be a stop on everyone’s list.
