Marlin’s Samaritan House new managing director

Introducing Letitia Estep, Falls County Samaritan House in Marlin’s new Managing Director. She is a former high school teacher of Statistics, Physics, English IV, Economics, Spanish II and Spanish III, Speech, as well as English I. She continues to teach through the University of Texas at Richardson. Letitia Estep is the widow of Pastor Michael J. Estep of the First Baptist Church Marlin.

The Falls County Samaritan House was organized in 1984 to provide emergency help to Falls County residents that need food, utilities, clothing and other assistance beyond what U.S. government programs can provide. Samaritan House’s pantry and assistance with utilities and clothing is open Monday through Friday, from 9:00 a.m. through 11:00 a.m. The Resale Shop is open Monday through Thursday, 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m., and Saturday, 9:00 a.m-1:00 p.m.

The Falls County Samaritan House this year has provided 654 households with food, 230 households with utilities, and 120 families with clothing for adults, and children.
